Sad Weekend In my Home

I had written a while ago that my Female was not eating, I took her to the vet at that time and the vet said she was AOK and she actually started eating again and acting normal...

Last Wednesday I noticed she was coughing up mucus and I Immediatly took her to the emergency vet which confimed what I suspected that my pornstar had an upper respitory infection , we started her on Antibiotics, but we only got two doses in her, I think this may have been going on with her since she would not eat a month ago so it was probley a well developed infection by the time she started coughing.....on friday she lost her fight with her breathing and passed on, I am very heart broken and just need to share with beardie lovers...I will miss her antics very much...

Unfortunatly the fix for the hurt is time......and knowing I did do all I could for her.....it suprised us all my vet included...we just did not see it coming, up until weds there were no signs she was ill...so we figured we had caught it in time....but as we all know Respitory infections can fatal in reptiles very quickly...

I am better today I can actually think about her with out breaking down...but every one of my retiles are my kids........
