I shot these guys over Labor Day weekend.

A gray treefrog. Well, I know that its actually green, but the gray tree frog (Hyla versicolor) is the species. Ha ha.

A wood frog.

An american toad.

The same wood frog as above. Note the same, very annoying pine needle resting atop his head.

As you probably noticed, when it comes to amphibians, my favorite shot is the close-up, "in your face" shot.

i got a shot of what i suspect to be the same kind of tree frog the other day. I was dumbfounded....as this was the first tree frog i had ever seen and i have lived in mn all my life! ENJOY. kristy:)Some anurans shot here in MN IMG_0280

Yeah, that would be the same thing. Thats surprising though, I've seen tree frogs here all my life.

not my whole life i live next to a pond and a marsh just behind my fence even! all the toads and leopard frogs, ducks, turtles etc....but not one tree frog lol atleast not until the other night! kristy:)

Frogs are neat. I realy like the voice on the wood frog in spring.

yes they are amazing. i have done a lot of schooling based around amphibians as well as my own research. Well we evolved from amphibians they say. the first to come onto land with lungs from the water! kristy:)
