new 6 cage stand

I'm about to finish this unit. It has 6 cages, each have fold down doors. I made a few others that i used temporarily. this one has never been used. I'm asking $150, close to what materials cost. Made out of 3/4" melamine, the front wood has 2 coats of polyurethane on it for ease of cleaning and to preserve the wood. I have another one that i'll be finishing soon. I'll give a discount if you buy both. I can deliver within a reasonable distance.

how big is each cage? any heat in there?

they are a little over 2' wide 16" deep and about 9" tall. they don't have heat, but heat tape could easily go down the whole back side. heat tape should be around $40 for the whole stand

shoot.. if they were in the 3' wide area I would have bought it for Juvi boas!

I could build you something like that. it would cost a little more

yes and yes. i would want a little gas $ for the drive up there

ok so what do you think a price for a stacker like that for 4 7' boas would cost me and how much gas $?

what would you want the dimensions of each unit to be? (for materials)

what do you think 5'x2'x2'?? that should be ok for a 7' boa?

best rule of thumb is 1 square foot of floor space per foot of length.. only really need to about 18 inches high per cage.. easier to heat!

$300 for something that big. would the height be ok? If you shrunk it down to 1.5' tall for each unit i could make it a five cage stand for the same price(extra material). I could drive it to you for $25

I think the 1.5' height would be fine and 300 sounds like a good deal how long would it take to build and a total price for it and the 6 high delivered

if you took this stand i'll build you the other one and deliver it for $450.
